Food for stress, pain & fatigue
Learn how by including certain foods in your diet, you can heal the inflammation that causes pain, fatigue, and discomfort in your body.
In this workshop, we will be talking about the many foods and spices that work to heal inflammation. We will share ways to easily bring these foods into your meal planning. We will also be sampling a few delicious foods and drinks made from healing foods, both sweet and savoury. The recipes will be provided, so that you can make them at home.
We will discuss how to avoid damaging foods, and ways that foods can be damaged, to cause an inflammatory response in the body.
We will also be addressing a major cause of inflammation-stress, and we will be guiding you through a relaxing 30 minute meditation, to allow your body to enter into the healing branch of your nervous system.
This workshop includes a handout with information and recipes. As a bonus, we are including a digital recording of the meditation, so that you can use it at home as often as you like, to relieve stress and reduce inflammation.
This workshop will be presented by Val MacDonald, R.H.N., with special guest Amy MacDonald, RYT.
